LEGO Mario Kart Set Details

This ishardly the onlyMario Kartset LEGO has produced, with the building-block company recently launching a wave of sets inspired by Nintendo’s iconic racing franchise. LEGO’s previousMario Kartsets include characters like Donkey Kong and Baby Peach and feature fun extras that help bring the game to life. Other collaborations between LEGO and Nintendo include a 2D Mario and Yoshi statue, as well as an incredibly detailed 3D Bowser model.

This new set couldn’t be released at a better time, asNintendo showed offMario Kart 9earlier this year. The newMario Kartgame was revealed alongside the Nintendo Switch 2, a gaming console that has become one of the most anticipated in recent memory. Building off the success of the original Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2 makes a few interesting changes to the original system, namely with its Joycons. Instead of sliding into a track, the Nintendo Switch 2’s Joycons will simply click into place, seemingly making them easier to use and sturdier. Both the Switch 2 and the nextMario Kartgame are expected to launch together, though an exact release date is still unconfirmed.
