Summary

A new game mode has been leaked forMarvel Rivals, turning the game’s blend of chaotic yet balanced gameplay on its head. Named Clone Rumble,Marvel Rivals' upcoming new game mode allows players on the same team to pick the same characters, making for incredibly silly and chaotic matches. Imagining four, five, or even six Hulks on the same team should be enough to illustrate how crazyMarvel Rivals' new Clone Rumble could be, with the mode rumored to debut soon.

While positioning itself as a skill-based hero shooter in the same vein asOverwatch 2,Marvel Rivalsdeveloper NetEase has made it clear it sees the game just as much of a playground for hardcore players as casual ones, making sure the game is fun to play both in quick matches and competitively. It’s a difficult task to balance over three dozen characters from the Marvel universe, with some passive and ultimate abilities being incredibly powerful. While certain characters seem to shine more than others,Marvel Rivalsplaces a huge emphasis on team composition, something that can make or break matches. However, this will all change soon, with developers set to introduce a brand-new game mode.

Twitter user RivalsLeaks shared the new information online, revealing what players can expect fromMarvel Rivals' upcoming Clone Rumble mode. In Clone Rumble, players will have the opportunity to pick multiple of the same character, meaning it’s up to them how wacky they want their team composition to be. This means a team of six could be made of three Magiks and three Iron Mans, four Doctor Stranges and two Spider-Mans, or even six Winter Soldiers at a time. Obviously, certain match-ups would be overpowered, as somealready are in the baseMarvel Rivalsexperience, but it appears that’s the point of the game’s new Clone Rumble mode.
