In a new post on Reddit, user SolidPeaks said that they are “a little concerned” about costumes being locked behind paid DLC. The user is referencing the Sneaking DLC pack, which comes with six different uniforms, two face options, and two masks. While it appears as though the DLC can be purchased separately, it is also included in the Digital Deluxe edition, which is priced at $79.99 USD, whereas the Standard edition is $69.99 USD. AMetal Gear Solid Delta: Snake EaterCollector’s Editionwas also revealed last year, which comes with the Digital Deluxe edition.
The original poster didn’t outright blast Konami’s decision to lock these costumes behind a paywall, explaining that they “understand this is more common now” and that they are “sure the game is going to be good.” However, they went on to explain that their concern is that even more costumes will be locked behind a paywall, not just the ones included in the Sneaking DLC pack.
