La Quimera’s Story Was Penned by the Director of Drive

La Quimeratakes place in a fictional Latin American megalopolis situated in a jungle. Players will take control of desperate soldiers of a currently unspecified private military company warring with other PMCs in the area. The game’s story and lore were co-authored by Danish film director and screenwriter Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for hismodern neo-noir filmDrive, starring Ryan Gosling. E.J.A. Warren is credited as the other lead writer.

La Quimera Will Feature Optional Co-Op

WhileLa Quimerawill be playable solo, it will also support co-op for two or three players. Reburn expects thatMetrofanswill feel right at home with the game’s combination of intense gunplay and emotional storytelling woven into an original setting that marries sci-fi with Latin American folklore.
