Minecrafthas gone through multiple transformative updates since even before it was officially released. Villages weren’t an aspect of the game during its test builds, but they were part of the game’s launch.Minecraftvillageswere an early transformation of the game that added Villagers, randomized loot in village chests, and easy access to helpful crafting stations, and played a pivotal role in speedrunning the game. Beyond the utility of villages, they also help creative players with an idea of what to build and where to begin. Reddit user Narrow-Ad-4280 recently shared four images of theirMinecraftworld, showing the progress with before and after perspectives. The earlier images show a Desert village resembling Ancient Egypt, with three pyramids featuring a similar alignment to the ones in Giza, and a Sphinx perched atop a hillside. The aerial view shows that the Sand village is nestled between a Frozen Ocean full ofMinecraftIce blocksand a Savanna biome, with two small lakes, and a winding river. The later screenshots show a much larger city that expanded around the village, with a large sword structure, and a tall tower near some docks located along the southern edge. Finer details like an elongated Sphinx, a construction crane leading to a mine, and big forts with creative flags that were built along the river are shown from a first-person screenshot.

This Minecraft Player Created an Incredible Desert City

Establishing a base between biomes like this one provides access to lucrative resources, as each area features its own unique blocks. Builds like this can give new players an idea of what may be accomplished inMinecraftin six years. Narrow-Ad-4280 pointed out that their Desert village went from the Bronze Age to the Middle Age in their six-year journey. Some blocks used in this build include different types of wood and Cobblestone, Planks, Red Sand, Sandstone, Stone, Terracotta, and what could be dyed Wool or Concrete, which adds more color to the Desert. In the Mine area, there’s also a rail network with Powered Rails that hints at the use ofMinecraft’s Redstone resourceas well.

As Narrow-Ad-4280 shared their Seed with the community, players can replicate their build. Given thatMojang continues to updateMinecraft, new blocks may be added that make these creations even more impressive than they already are.
