How to Play Mega Heist in Monopoly GO
Like all flash events, Mega Heist is only around for a short time. The good news is thatMonopoly GOis pretty generous with these, and we usually get one Mega Heist per day. Once it’s active, it usually lasts between15 minutes to an hour.
If you want to get more Mega Heists, you’ll have towork on your eventand tournament milestones. Almost every solo event and tournament has at least one Mega Heist as a reward. Most solo events give you a 30 to 40-minute Mega Heist, but it’s usually hidden behind the later milestones, so you’ll have to put in some work to unlock it.
Starting a Mega Heist works just likea regular Bank Heist. To trigger one, you need to land on a Railroad tile while the boost is active. But remember that landing on a Railroad doesn’t always mean you’ll get a Bank Heist. Sometimes, you will get a Shutdown instead.
As you probably know, Bank Heist has three types: Small, Large, and Bankrupt. But Mega Heist adds another one which works a little differently from them. Instead of finding three silver coins like in a Small Heist, fans will need to find three gold bars. If you pull it off, they will earn tons of cash (almost three times more than a Bankrupt Heist). It’s a great way to steal money from your opponent’s bank and seriously slow down their progress.
But what if you don’t match three golden bars and end up doing a different type of heist? Well, the Mega Heist flash event increases your earnings from all types of heists, not just Mega Heists. In addition, players will score more points forany events or tournamentsthat need you to land on Railroad tiles. So make sure to hop into the game whenever the Mega Heist flash event is live.
