The announcement follows a few days after thelatestMonster Huntergame attracted a big horde of playerson Steam, while also doing noticeably well on the PS Store. Since the action RPG is priced at USD $69.99 across all platforms, the latest sales numbers signal that Capcom has raked in well over half-a-billion in revenue. Interestingly, it also means thatMonster Hunter Wildshas already sold more than one-third ofMonster Hunter World’s total sales, which were revealed to be at 21.3 million in December 2024.

Monster Hunter Wilds Breaks Sales Record for Capcom

Despite the favorable reviews and sales ofMonster Hunter Wilds, its PC port continues to struggle with certain technical hiccups. This becomes more apparent when analyzing the game’s “Mixed” user rating on Steam, where only 58% of the feedback received from 64.7K users is positive.
