How To Save In Monster Hunter Wilds
To save your game,Monster Hunter Wildsplayers simply need toopen up the main menu and tab over to the ‘System’ menu. To create a manual save,MH Wildsplayers caneither click ‘Save’ or ‘Return to Main Menu’ / ‘Exit Game’.
There are three situations in which themanual save function is disabled:duringcertain major quests, in the middle of monster hunts, and during cutscenes. In any other situation –even in multiplayer– you can manually save.
When Does Monster Hunter Wilds Autosave?
Monster Hunter Wildswill regularlyautosave the game at major progression points. The autosave symbol will appear in the bottom-right of the screen any time the game is Autosaving during gameplay. Don’t exit the game if you see this symbol, as it could cause errors with your save file.
Monster Hunter Wildswillautosave when you reach specific checkpoints in a quest, right before and after finishing a Hunt, and after other major points in the game. Keep an eye out for the symbol on the bottom right to see if the game is currently autosaving.
