There are a whopping50 trophies and achievements(if you include the Platinum) forMonster Hunter Wilds. As part of the main storyline, you’re bound to complete about 30-40% of the objectives on the list, but for those who want to go the extra mile and earn that coveted Platinum, this guide will help!
The most time-consuming of theMonster Hunter Wildsachievements are all the crown-hunting-related ones, as well as one requiring you to hunt 100 times in multiplayer and another requiring you to catch not 10, not 20, but 30 Whoppers while fishing.

Completed 50 quests.
Accept and take on 50 hunting quests –it doesn’t matter if it’s done offline or online with friends.
Let the Investigations Begin!
Completed your first investigation.
If you’re in a biome, open the map to find theEnvironmental Overviewscreen. This will show a list of monsters on the map. Choose one and then save it as an investigation. you may hunt this monster later by opening the Quest board with Alma (or at camp).
The Hunt is On!
Completed your first field survey.
It’s the same steps as starting an Investigation, but click onBegin Field Surveyin the Environmental Overview screen instead to start the monster hunt immediately.
East to West, A Hunter Never Rests
Completed 30 different side missions.
Keep completing and taking on side missions to unlock more.Characters like Kanyaand your Palico will have multiple quests for you to take on, for example.
Angling for a Bite
Successfully fished for the first time.
You will get a fishing rodand other tools after passing Chapter 1-2. Look for fishing spots in each biome.
Mmm, so Tasty!
Successfully cooked a well-done steak for the first time.
Use your BBQ Spit and make sure to time it perfectly (use this guide for help!)
Was it a Meal to Remember?
Cooked over the BBQ Grill for the first time.
Make a full meal with your BBQ Spit (this is different from cooking raw meat).
The Bigger They Are…
Successfully mounted a monster for the first time.

Hunter-Assassin
Performed your first Sneak Attack.
Approach an unsuspecting monster while you’re crouched and have your weapon out. A prompt will appear toexecute the sneak attack.
Hit ‘Em Where it Hurts
Landed 50 successful attacks on weak points or wounds in Focus Mode.
You canenter Focus Modeby holding L2/LT and then attacking with a Focus Strike with R1/RB.
Capture a Curioshell Crab.
I Caught a Shooting Star!
Caught a creature in the desert that shines like a shooting star.
Monster (Squid) Hunter
Caught a Giant Squid while fishing.
You cancatch a Goliath Squid in Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest(Great Lake Shore).
A-fish-ionado
Reeled in 30 whoppers while fishing.
Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest is the best place to catch a Whopper.We have a detailed guide here, but unfortunately, this trophy is probably the most annoying, as there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to cheat it.
Campmaster
Established Pop-Up Camps in 10 places.
Pop-up camps not created on the map will have blue butterflies around the campsites. Use your camp tool once standing in the right spot, and the Pop-Up Camp will be activated.Check out the locations for the Camps in the Plainsto get you started.
Glamper
Customized a Pop-Up Camp.
Speak to the Palico that hangs out by your Pop-Up Camps. You can design your camps within the menu that appears.
A Keen-eyed Observation
Used the Binoculars to spot a gold-crown large monster.
After you get your essential tools, the binoculars can be used to check if a Large Monster is a crown monster. This means it is either the largest or smallest version of that monster. Check out thiscrown guide for more info.
Ride-or-Die Companion
Customized your Seikret or changed its decorations for the first time.
Complete Chapter 1-4 and then speak with Nona in Kunafa, Windsong Village.
Established Hunter
Reached Hunter Rank 100.
Just keep on playing and completing quests toincrease your Hunter Rank.
Impregnable Defense
Forged five different pieces of armor with Rarity 7 or higher.
To get level 7 Rarity gear, you’ll have to wait until the endgame ofMonster Hunter Wildsafter you reach High Rank.
Forged five different weapons with Rarity 7 or higher.
Someone Worth Following
Completed 100 quests with your Palico deployed.
Your Palico will be deployed if you go on Solo hunts. Don’t let other people online join your hunts, or else your Palico will go bye-bye.
A Legacy Restored
Obtained an Artian Weapon of Rarity 8.
You won’t need to worry aboutArtian Weapons until reaching Chapter 4(the post-game) ofMHW. But you’ll need to hunt Tempered Monsters to get special materials, craft the Artian weapon, and then reinforce said weapon to get it to its full potential.
Bourgeois Hunter
Possessed 1,000,000 Zenny.

Explorer of the Eastlands
Obtained 10 different special items of Rarity 6.
You’ll need to find special items likeTime-honed Wylk GemsGreat Windward Aloe,Bulky Treasure, and Nightflower Pollen. You canread more about this achievement in this detailed guide.
Seasoned Hunter
Hunted 50 Tempered monsters.
You’ll unlockTempered monsters in the post-gameduring Chapter 4. They are stronger and more hostile than regular large monsters. Hunting these will also grant you special materials needed to craft the all-powerful Artian Weapons.
Miniature Crown
Obtained your first miniature crown in the Hunting Log.

Obtained a miniature crown for 10 or more monsters.
Obtained a Miniature crown for many large monsters.
Giant Crown
Obtained your first silver crown or higher in the Hunting Log.
Obtained a gold crown for 10 or more large monsters.
Monster Slayer
Hunted 100 large monsters.
The Large Monsters are the 29 big bosses of the game. This can be done solo or via multiplayer. You can alsocapture monsters instead of killing themto speed up the process.
Top of the Food Chain
Hunted 50 apex predators.
TheApex Predatorsare Nu Udra, Rey Dau, Uth Duna, and Jin Dahaad.
Hunters United
Completed a quest via multiplayer.
If you’re playing on PS5 or Xbox, you will have to pay forPS Plus or Xbox Game Pass to connect with other players.
Gossip Hunter
Viewed 30 different Hunter profiles.
Go to Options>Communications>Member List. Click on a player and then hitView Hunter Profile. You must be connected online to do this.
Newly Forged Bonds
Followed someone for the first time.
Go to Options>Communications>Member List. Click on a player and then hitFollow. You must be connected online to do this.
