There are many ways to upgrade weapons inMonster Hunter Wilds, with one of the main upgrade treesfor every weaponbeing Bone. After the first Bone weapon, there are many different trees to upgrade into, with one being the basic Bone upgrade that just increases the base stats of the original weapon.

Where To Farm Sturdy Bone In Monster Hunter Wilds

Sturdy Bone has achance of dropping every time you loot a Bonepile. Bonepiles appear on the map as a yellow monster icon with a question mark over it, and will usually be found near major monster nests in any region. Sturdy Bones are most reliably found in the third region,the Oilwell Basin. While this is the most reliable place to find some, Sturdy Bone can also reliably be found in the Windward Planes and Forest.

The locations of Bonepiles do not change, andonce marked on the map there will always be a Bonepile therewhenever you come back.

Should you loot Bonepiles in the earlier regions, you’ll more often find Mysterious Bones which are also needed to craft the base Bone weapons that will be upgraded with Sturdy Bones. Bonepiles also usually have multiple items that can be looted from them, so whenever you find one and press the button to loot it, be sure to wait a second before looting it again and getting that second item. The easiest way to findmonster nests where there are usually one or two Bonepilesis tobegin an Optional Questto hunt any monster of your choosing, as every monster has a nest. How Often Do Bonepiles Respawn In Monster Hunter Wilds

No matter where you loot a Bonepile, it will befifteen real-world minutes before that Bonepile has replenished its loot. You can check the time left on the replenishment of a specific Bonepile by hovering over its icon on the map to see the countdown. There is also no correlation between the loot that was previously obtained from a Bonepile and what will be obtained this time, as the chances are always the same based on the region you’re in. Once a Bonepile is marked on the map, you can jump onyour Seikretand mark the location on the map to have your trusty bird run you there automatically.
