There are countlesscrafting materialsfor players to track down inMonster Hunter Wilds, some of which can be very hard to come by. Others are fairly common, but can only be obtained once players have reached a certain point in the story, as is the case with the Guardian Pelt and Guardian Pelt +.
Players will need these items to forge a wide variety of weapons and armor sets, but will have no way of acquiring them early on. Thankfully, however, they won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on them, as Guardian Pelts become available during the third chapter ofMonster Hunter Wilds.
How to Get Guardian Pelts in Monster Hunter Wilds (Guardian Pelt Location)
After reachingChapter 3 ofMonster Hunter Wilds, players will begin to encounter Guardian monsters, several of which can drop Guardian Pelts. More specifically, players can get Guardian Pelts by huntingGuardian Doshaguma,Guardian Arkveld, andZoh Shiain Low Rank encounters. Players will need to square off against all three of these enemies as part of the main story, and so should end up with a fairly decent stock of Guardian Pelts without having to farm for them.
If players need to get more Guardian Pelts after unlocking High Rank then they canreturn to Low Rankat any time by starting or joining a Low Rank quest through the Quest Counter.
How to Get Guardian Pelt + in Monster Hunter Wilds (Guardian Pelt Plus Location)
Guardian Pelt + is only available during High Rank encounters, with players having a chance of getting them after destroying the wounds ofGuardian DoshagumaorGuardian FulgurAnjanath.High rank unlocks at the end of Chapter 3, so this is the earliest point in the game that players can get their hands on Guardian Pelt +. After that, though, they should be fairly easy to come by.
