Although there is plenty of new content for players to check out, the latest update hasn’t been without controversy. Season 2 Reloaded has introduced a new collaboration with theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but fansaren’t happy with the latestCall of Duty: Black Ops 6eventfor a magnitude of reasons. Similar to theSquid Gamecollaboration from earlier this year, theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesevent comes with a new Event Pass for players to level up and unlock in-game rewards. The catch, however, is that players must pay 1,100 COD Points to unlock the premium version of the Event Pass, which doesn’t even include the sought-afterNinja Turtlesoperator skins.

Treyarch Confirms When Bullet 24/7 Is Coming to Black Ops 6

Despite the dissatisfaction with the new event,Call of Duty: Black Ops 6Season 2 Reloadeddid add plenty of other new content, including two new multiplayer maps: Grind and Bullet. With fans absolutely loving Bullet, Treyarch Studios has confirmed that it will be releasing a new update on February 21 with Bullet 24/7 set to be added to the game’s playlist options. The small, fast-paced multiplayer map is set inside (or on top of) a high-speed bullet train, making it one of the first maps of its kind inCall of Dutyhistory. While many ofCall of Duty's most iconic maps consist of three lanes, Bullet has just one, which fans were initially skeptical of.

After its first reveal to the world with the launch of Season 2 last month, fansinitially mocked the newBlack Ops 6mapas its layout practically mimicked a joke concept created by a fan last year. After the launch ofBlack Ops 6in October 2024, one player mocked up an idea for a hallway map that was…well, precisely that. The concept was nothing but a straight hallway with two spawn points and nothing in between. While Bullet isn’t quite as chaotic as what this concept would be, it is the first map inCall of Dutyhistory to just be a straight line. Thankfully, there’s plenty of cover, and players can even climb on top of the moving train to traverse from one side to the other.

The newestCall of Dutyupdate also brings back some iconicmaps and weapons from pastBlack Opsgames. After weeks of rumors and speculation, the launch of Season 2 Reloaded confirmed that the D13 Sector (now known as the D.13 Sector) would be returning. This iconic special weapon fromBlack Ops 3fires disc projectiles at enemies, but its return has come with a few new upgrades. The mid-season refresh has also seen the return of a fan-favorite map fromBlack Ops 2, Grind. Set inside a skate park, fans can jump into one ofCall of Duty's most iconic maps for free with Season 2 Reloaded.
