The project appears to be a “battle-focused” multiplayer spin-off being developed by both Game Freak and ILCA, featuring gameplay similar to that found inSplatoon. While this mysterious multiplayer title may or may not officially appear on Pokemon Day, fans are almost certain to hear upcoming Switch titlePokemon Legends: Z-A. Few details about the game have been revealed since it was first teased during last year’s Pokemon Presents stream, but the title is still slated to be released in 2025.Pokemon Legends: Z-Awill take place in the Kalos region, previously seen inPokemon X and Y, and will focus entirely on the goings-on in Lumiose City. The popular Mega Evolution mechanic from the aforementioned games will also return.
