Having an account is free, so there are no additional fees to be concerned with. It’s possible to use the Alarmo without it, but Nintendo has released updates for the device since its launch thatadded new Alarmo scenes from games likeMario Kart 8. The device is also slated to get anAnimal Crossing: New Horizons-themed update in the future, which will have the same free account requirement.
Those who prefer to make purchases offline or through the retailers they normally shop at will need to wait a little longer before picking up an Alarmo. TheNintendo Alarmo is slated to launch at standard retailerssometime in March 2025, though no full list of participating retailers has been announced. Chances are fans will be able to find it at places that usually offer Nintendo products, though, like Walmart, Target, and so on.
