Roger’s Ship Is Fairly Normal Save For A Giant Egg
The egg on the Oro Jackson has always been an interesting topic within theOne Piececommunity.One Piece’sOro Jackson, despite appearing to be a fairly straightforward and traditional pirate ship, features a strange peculiarity; a huge white egg with red polka dots. Although the ship, and in turn the egg, have only appeared a few times in the series, fans have often wondered why such a strange part of the ship exists without explanation.

From here, plenty of members of theOne Piecefanbase have speculated what the egg could be. While some fans believe the detail is unimportant and is just a strange design element of the ship, other fans believe it houses something as important asan Ancient Weapon inOne Piece. However, with Franky’s discovery of the Ancient Mural in One Piece, something that details the ancient history of the world, one theorist believes that there may be enough evidence to finally crack the mystery of the Oro Jackson’s egg.
The Egg On The Oro Jackson May Be Connected To One Piece’s Ancient Mural
A Dragon Could Hatch From The Egg
In a post on Reddit by user Infinity_Overload, the theorist explains that the egg on the Oro Jackson could potentially be the egg of the dragon shown on the Ancient Mural. In the Ancient Mural, there seems to be a creature resembling a dragon at the top of the drawing engaged in battle with the serpent that many fans believe representsOne Piece’sRed Line. However, being a drawing of the ancient past ofOne Piece, the theorist believes that the dragon was defeated in the mural.
Despite the dragon being killed by the serpent of the Red Line inOne Piece, an egg survived the encounter and was kept hidden for years. That is until it came into possession ofthe first Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. However, with Roger’s illness, he would need to pass the egg off to his crew, namely Scopper Gaban, who would then raise the young baby dragon on Elbaf, where it defends the final Poneglyph. If this is the case, and this theory is accurate, it shouldn’t be too long before this dragon will return.

Not Every One Piece Element Is A Massive Reveal
Overall, while this theory has some strong elements, other fans believe that there are more likely explanations forOne Piece’segg-based mystery. Some fans truly believe that the egg itself may have just been a large breakfast for Roger or a potential feast forOne Piece’sScopper Gabanand the rest of the crew. Others believe that the egg is just a small detail added to make an otherwise straightforward ship stand out in the wacky world ofOne Piece. However, knowing how many strange things can happen in the story ofOne Piece, the egg on the Oro Jackson being a dragon is definitely a possibility.

Still, these last few chapters have been exactly what fans have needed, sharing massive amounts of lore and secrets that slowly unravel the mysteries of theOne Pieceuniverse.
