One Piece Volume 111 Makes Corrections to The Manga

Gear 4 was Changed To Gear 3, and Missing Details Were Added

One Pieceis quite a long series, now running for over 1100 chapters. Working on a series for this long and with such a draining schedule is no easy job, but Eiichiro Oda, the mangaka of the series, is definitely doing his very best.

During the Elbaf arc of One Piece, while reading weekly releases of chapters, some fans were quick to point out some mistakes. For example, sometimes, weapons would be missing from characters who had them a few panels back. This is not a big deal, but some fans thought it was a lack of attention to detail by Oda.

Overall, a missing weapon that isn’t really important to the character isn’t a big deal. What bothered people more was Luffy using Gear 3rd, but calling it Gear 4. Some fans wondered if it was a new way of utilizing Gear 4, while others believed it was a mistake. This panel of Luffy was modified with the release of Volume 111 and reverted to Gear 3.

Luffy’s missing axe in this same panel was also fixed, and it was added where it was missing.

ManyOne Piecefans are quick to point out small mistakes in the manga chapters whenever they appear, but they’re often not that big, and one can easily tell that it’s just due to rushed schedules. In addition, it’s almost always fixed with the release of the volume, so it really is no big issue, and many fans need to cut slack on Oda, who is very overworked as is.The fact Oda has been releasing chapters weeklyfor almost 3 decades is no easy achievement.
