One moment that comes to mind as an honorable mention for the best moment in post-time skip One Piece is the moment where the Mink reveal that Raizo is safe in the Zou Arc. Throughout the arc, the Mink were tortured and beaten byJack of the Beast Pirates, who was searching for a hidden ninja from Wano. However, the entire time, the Mink denied harboring the criminal. However, later, it was revealed that the Mink were harboring Raizo, and were able to protect him. This moment is a great scene in a short arc, full of emotional significance and impact that cement the Mink Tribe as an amazing group of characters almost immediately.
Another amazing moment in post-time skip is the creation of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet during One Piece’s Dressrosa Arc. After defeatingOne Piece’sDonquixote Pirates, many members of the Dressrosa Arena pledge their loyalty to the Straw Hats. This scene marks a massive shift in the series, showing the culmination of Luffy’s adventure from a small rookie to becomingOne Piece’snext King of the Pirates. In many ways, this is the first major step Luffy has taken towards achieving his dreams. Additionally, coming during the chaotic aftermath of Dressrosa, this emotional moment carries plenty of physical stakes as well.
Gear 5 Is The Best Post-Time Skip Moment So Far
This Moment Changed Everything For One Piece
However, the best moment of post-time skipOne Pieceso far is the introduction ofLuffy’s Gear 5 during the Wano Arc. After nearly dying at the hands of Kaido, Luffy’s Devil Fruit awakens, reviving him and giving him access to a new, cartoonish form; Gear 5. This scene carries a great amount of physical tension, with Kaido nearly emerging as victorious and emotional weight, with Wano’s future riding on Luffy’s success. Paired with gorgeous animation, sound effects, and music, this scene is one of the best scenes in the entire anime ofOne Piece, not just post-time skip.
