Selling over 25 million copies in less than six months, Game Science’sJourney to the West-inspired title set a major benchmarkfor future Chinese-made releases targeting the PC and consoles. Where Winds Meet is Set to Launch Worldwide in 2025, But There’s a Catch

Where Winds Meethas previously been announcedfor a global release at some point in the future, but so far not all platforms have been confirmed to arrive worldwide in 2025. The last official update from the studio on Twitter, shared in October 2024, specifically talked about the iOS and iPadOS versions being rolled out overseas in 2025, with no explicit release information about its PC and console ports. While this may be slightly worrisome to excited fans, the eventual arrival of the mobile version could make room for a follow-up announcement about the progress ofWhere Winds Meeton other platforms.

Interestingly, there’s another major console release from China coming soon which also has the theme of martial arts in common withWhere Winds Meet. Initially announced in May 2023,Phantom Blade Zerois an RPGfor the PC and the PS5, which is slated for a Fall 2026 launch.
