Summary

PlayStation Portalusers can now directly stream eight new games to the handheld device thanks to a new batch of titles that were recently added to PS Plus Premium. When thePlayStation Portalwas first released in November 2023, one significant critique from gamers was that it could not natively play games and was merely to stream titles directly from a PlayStation 5. While the Portal will always be incapable of playing games natively, a massive update now allows the device to stream directly from the cloud with PS Plus Premium.

On February 18, Sony released nine new games across PS Plus Extra and Premium. Out of the nine new games added across the two tiers, eight of them are available to stream via PS Plus Premium, including huge hits likeStar Wars Jedi: Survivor, Top Spin 2K25,andMordhau. There are even some classic titles thrown into the mix too, such asPatapon 3andDropship: United Peace Force. But if that wasn’t enough for players, there are also newer games such asTin Hearts, Somerville, andLost Record: Bloom & Rage Tape 1. These titles won’t be available on the service forever, but they can be streamed directly on the Portal using PS Plus Premium right now.
