Summary

Pokemon GOhas announced that Fuecoco will be the star of its upcoming March Community Day event. It will also be the first Community Day ofPokemon GO’s next season, which is expected to release several events.

Pokemon GO’s monthly Community Day events allow players to catch new Pokemon, earn extra candy, and even encounter shiny versions that would otherwise be unobtainable. Community Day events often feature fan-favorite Pokemon, like regional starters. For example, the latest January edition starred Sprigatito, Paldea’s Grass-type starter. Although other Paldeanstarters like Fuecoco are available inPokemon GO, players have wondered when a similar Community Day event could be held. Fortunately for fans, Niantic has confirmed its plans for its next Community Day.

Pokemon GOhas revealed Fuecoco as the featured Pokemon for its March 2025 Community Day event. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During the event, the Paldean Fire-type starter will spawn more frequently in the wild. Players will also have an increased chance of encountering shiny Fuecoco. Fans can also evolve their Fuecoco into Crocalor up to a week after the event to get a Skeledirge that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Moreover, starting with the event and going forward, all Skeledirge will be able to learn the Charged Attack Torch Song. It is worth noting that Fuecoco’s Community Day will be the first ofseveral events featured inPokemon GO’s next season, which will begin on March 4 once the Dual Destiny season wraps up.

Pokemon GO: When is Fuecoco Community Day?

To help players evolve their Fuecoco, the upcoming Community Day event will grant players triple Stardust and double candy from catching Pokemon. Players level 31 will also have double the chance of earning Candy XL. In addition, all Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours, except for the free Daily Incense. Fans should also seize the opportunity to trade Pokemon on the day of the event, since Trades will cost 50% less Stardust and up to two Special Trades can be done. These last two bonuses will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time.

Finally, special Community Day-themed Research tasks will be available, giving players more rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, and more Fuecoco encounters. Completing the event’s Field Research could lead to catching a Fuecoco with a limited background as well. As one of themost adorable Paldean Pokemon, Fuecoco is very popular among fans, so a Community Day centered around it could be a great opportunity forPokemon GO.

While Fuecoco’s Community Day event is still weeks away, players can still look forward toPokemon GO’s upcoming Scattered to the Winds event, which will feature shiny Scatterbug, Pidgey, Caterpie, and more. On the other hand, there is a chance thatPokemon GOwill feature Quaxly in future Community Day events, considering that it’s the last Paldean starter remaining.
