These events givePokemon GOplayers multiple opportunities to earn more XP, catch Shiny Pokemon, and obtain useful items, which could prove to be vital for the season’s upcoming Raid Day events.
Totodile will be the featured Pokemon for thePokemon GOMarch 2025 Community Day Classic event taking place on Saturday, March 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During the three-hour event, Totodile will appear more frequently in the wild, and players have a greater chance of encountering a Shiny Totodile.Pokemon GOplayers who evolve Croconaw, Totodile’s Evolution, before March 29 at 10:00 p.m. local time will get a Feraligatr that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. Additional event bonuses will be available during Community Day Classic, including 1/4 hatch distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators, Lure Modules and Incense that last up to three hours, and the opportunity tocatch Smeargle withPokemon GO’ssnapshot feature.
Pokemon GO Brings Back Totodile for March 2025 Community Day Classic Event
Similarly toPokemon GO’sprevious Community Day events, there will be Community Day Classic-themed Field Research tasks with rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, and additional encounters with Totodile. One of the encounters with Totodile will include a bonus Seasonal Special Background. More rewards will be available to players who purchase the Community Day Classic Special Research for $2. Complete the Special Research to earn a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and additional encounters with Totodile. Players can purchase Special Research gift tickets for friends who have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.
Additional rewards are up for grabs by spinning PokeStops and participating in PokeStop Showcases during the Community Day Classic event. Lastly, two Community Day Classic bundles will be available inthePokemon GOin-game shopwith several items that are useful for catching Pokemon. For 1,350 PokeCoins, the first Community Day Classic bundle offers 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, one Elite Charged TM, and five Lucky Eggs. The second bundle costs 480 PokeCoins and includes 30 Ultra Balls, one Incense, three Super Incubators, and one Lure Module.
