As expected, the Space-Time Smackdown expansion has introduced a new Drop Event inPokemon Pocket, this time featuring the intriguing Cresselia ex. Many are already comparing this card to another powerful addition from the expansion, Darkrai ex, due to their similar effects. Cresselia ex heals 20 HP whenever you attach a Psychic-type Energy to it, mirroring Darkrai ex’s ability to deal 20 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokemon whenever it receives a Darkness-type Energy.
While most aspects of the Cresselia ex Drop Event align with previous events of this type, there are still key details worth noting. This guide provides a detailed breakdown of the event, introduces the new cards included in the Promo-A Vol. 4 packs, and highlights the bestPokemon Pocketdecks for tackling this limited-time challenge.

During the Cresselia ex Drop Event, five new cards will be introduced toPokemon Pocket: the event’s featured Pokemon, Cresselia ex, along with Electivire, Turtwig, Skarmory, and Misdreavus. Among them, only Cresselia ex and Misdreavus will have new abilities, while the rest are simply new art variants of previously released cards fromthe Space-Time Smackdown expansion.
The new Promo-A Misdreavus replaces its Mumble ability with Confuse Ray, which inflicts the Confused state on the opponent without dealing extra damage. Its HP and retreat cost remain unchanged from the Space-Time Smackdown version.

The Best Deck for the Cresselia ex Drop Event
ADarkness-type deck featuring Scolipede and Weezingis ideal for this event. Since Cresselia ex and all other Solo mode decks in the event are Psychic-type, a Darkness lineup can easily dominate them. This deck is also great for farming Battle Tasks, as some missions specifically require defeating opponents with Darkness Pokemon.
you’re able to also go with an Arbok & Weezing deck if you are missing any Scolipede lineup cards.
