Mole_man1992 called this glitched pack a “MissingNo,” which is a reference to one of the most famous glitches of all time from the originalPokemon Red and Bluegames. Each card in the glitched pack experienced strange graphical errors, including misaligned artwork of the Pokemon and visual anomalies reminiscent of GPU artifacting. The glitch affected the player’s Poochyena and Manaphy cards, and one of thePokemon TCG Pocketcardsis unrecognizable due to graphical errors, which was jokingly labeled as a digital misprint by some fans in the Reddit thread.

Fortunately, this glitch only appears to affect the cards during the pack opening sequence. Mole_man1992 notes that the cards went back to normal as soon as they were sent into the collection, so the glitch is visual in nature only, unlike the MissingNo glitch. InthePokemon Red and Bluegames, the MissingNo glitch is capable of corrupting save data and ruining a player’s playthrough.

Pokemon TCG Pocketplayers don’t need to worry about the glitch, and it’s likely that the developers are preparing a fix for the issue for a future update. New updates are expected to be released later this month, ifrecentPokemon TCG Pocketleaksturn out to be accurate.
