By now, players have come to expect at least one secret emblem with each new set inPokemon TCG Pocket, so it’s no surprise that Triumphant Light features an ultra-rare cosmetic emblem. Specifically, this set hides a Shaymin emblem, and I’ll explain how to unlock it.
Before getting into the details, it’s important to note that not everyone reading this guide will be able to obtain the secret emblem. That’s because unlocking it requires completing a challenging secret mission that involves acquiring several rarePokemon TCG Pocketcards.
How to Get the Secret Shaymin Emblem
To unlock the secret Shaymin emblem, you must complete the “Pokemon from Ancient Records” secret mission. This task requires collecting six Pokemon and one Trainer, including four rare, one double rare, one art rare, and one super rare card.
“Pokemon from Ancient Records” isa hidden Themed Collection, meaning its requirements won’t be visible in advance. It will only appear in the respective menu once you’ve obtained all the necessary cards.
In the previous expansion, Space-Time Smackdown, a similarsecret mission rewarded players with the Garchomp emblem. However,the Triumphant Light miniset’s objectiveappears to be more accessible, as it requires only one super rare card—the two-star Celestic Town Elder.

The “Pokemon from Ancient Records” mission is variant-sensitive, meaning you must collect the exact cards listed in the table to complete it.
If you’ve gathered all the required cards but haven’t received the reward, try clearing the cache from the in-game menu. Some players have reported that a bug preventing them from claiming rewards was resolved after doing so.
To clearPokemon TCG Pocket’s cache, relaunch the game and avoid tapping the screen on the title menu. Instead, select the menu in the top-right corner and tap “Clear Cache.” This won’t delete your save files, so you may use it whenever the game is experiencing issues.
How Many Pack Points to Get All the Cards
If you were to complete the Shaymin emblem secret missionusing Pack Points, you’d need to spend 2,750 points. To put that into perspective, this would require either paying approximately $500 or opening 500 packs.

Since the secret Shaymin emblem requires collecting four three-diamond cards, one four-diamond, one one-star, and one two-star card, the overall drop rate is about 2.335%. While that may seem low, it’s actually a better chance compared to previous secret emblem missions.

Based on my calculations, it takes around 526 packs to collect all the necessary cards for the secret Shaymin emblem. For afree-to-playPokemon TCG Pocketplayer, this translates to opening free packs for nearly 263 consecutive days.
That said, some lucky players manage to complete the Ancient Records Themed Collection after opening just a handful of packs. If you’ve already unlocked the emblem, consider yourself one of the luckiest players.
