Announcedalongside Pokemon Day 2025, the “Honda Koraidon Project” released a video teasing multiple close-ups of sections from the real-world build. The bike appears to include plenty of granular details from the Pokemon, looking virtually identical to its character model inPokemon Scarlet. Created by a team of 40 engineers, the Koraidon will feature the ability to go into its Sprinting Build - using self-balancing tech called Honda Riding Assist - allowing it to walk on all fours as it does in-game.

According toHonda’s official press release, in addition to the balancing technology also allowing the Koraidon bike to self-stand on two wheels, the Honda Koraidon’s hands, legs, neck and facial movements are able to dynamically change depending on its Sprinting Build speed. Face, eye, and eyelid movements are planned to be included in the final build as well, though the moving components are not shown in the video.

The Honda Koraidon will be featured in an exhibit at the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo, Japan from March 7-9. While an indisputably impressive creation, Honda isn’t the first to create a two-wheeledPokemonvehicle, withToyota building a real Miraidon motorcyclelast year.

Even More Pokemon Vehicles

While both of the real-world Koraidon and Miraidon builds are certainly some astounding creations, they aren’t the firstPokemon-themed vehicles to be created. Though now the car models are a bit older, aPokemonfan spotted Pikachu and Lugia promotional carsat aPokemonconvention, which included a Pikachu-themed VW Beetle and a Chrysler PT Cruiser modeled after Lugia. Given that both mascots ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetnow have real-world versions in existence, it should be interesting to see what creations may come out of future mainlinePokemontitles.
