Xun, a prominent and often reliable leaker on the A9VG forums (and appearing often onResetEra) recently shared an image detailing the State of Play’s February 12 air date, though the title of the image gave users pause. Translated, the image’s name seems to be “the hypnotic soprano,” which seems to be an allusion toParasite Eve’s opera-singing antagonist. The image, which has since been deleted, also featured a square piece of tofu with the letter “e” embedded in it, a clear reference to Square Enix. Whilea newParasite Evetitlemay seem like a lot to hope for at this month’s State of Play, rumors about the IP have continued to spread for years, and it may not be beyond the realm of possibility.
