The Specs for the Accentum

You might confuse the SE with the regular one as both versions are very similar in almost every aspect. The SE comes with a Sennheiser BTD 600 Bluetooth dongle whereas the regular one doesn’t. Thesenoise-canceling headphonesare fairly light and comfortable to wear but might be a bit too tight for some due to their snug fit.

The overall construction is of plastic while the earcups have padded leather, which feels premium enough for the price. The headphones are suitable for commuting or casually listening to music, but not for workout sessions, as they aren’t the most secure-feeling headphones out there. You can fold the earcups flat, but they don’t fold in and end up taking more storage than needed.

The Special Edition is only available in one color: black with copper accents, whereas the regular version comes in black and white. The headphones produce a sound heavily focused on bass with decent mids and highs, thanks to their 37mm drivers. These aresuitable for loud music genres like metal and rock. The audio experience can be customized with a proprietary app that lets you play around with the EQ settings.

They don’t leak much sound to those around you, giving you a sense of privacy in a crowded space.Microphone quality over callsis commendable as well as even in busy settings, you’ll be audible to those on the other end, albeit with a slight hit to audio quality. Sennheiser claims the battery life to be 50 hours, but in reality, it’s closer to 40 hours, which is still respectable. You cannot use the headphones with an audio jack but can be used while charging.

These feature Bluetooth 5.2, which allows the user to connect two devices at once and switch back and forth between them. In case you want to connect these headphones to a PC, it’s possible via Bluetooth and the dongle, but it doesn’t support analog audio.

The same issue persists with the Sony PlayStation 5, but it’s worse for the Xbox Series X as it wouldn’t pair at all.
