Summary
Quick Links
The Final Saga’s second arc, Elbaf, is going to be an intense ride. This arc is definitely going to highlight many characters, old and new.
A somewhat popular trio among fans is that of Luffy, Zoro, and Nami. Although fans had high expectations from them, many fans have shown some disappointment with how Oda has handled Nami in the latest chapter,One Piece1141.
Nami Has Disappointed Many Fans
Despite Accompanying Luffy and Zoro, She Didn’t Do Anything
Nami is definitely a fan-favorite character among the Straw Hats, and inOne Piece, in general. Nami, despite being such an important character, hasn’t had that many opportunities to shine inOne Pieceafter the time skip, which is definitely unfortunate.
Now, with the Elbaf arc, Nami, alongside Luffy and Zoro, went together to Aurust Castle. However, while Luffy and Zoro continued on after their confrontation with Scopper Gaban, Nami returned to rejoin the rest of the Straw Hats with Road. This was definitely a disappointment for many fans of Nami, as they had expected the trio of Luffy, Zoro, and Nami to act together.
This was expected, however, as Nami wouldn’t be able to do much in the Underworld, and doesn’t have much of a role to play there. This doesn’t mean Nami won’t do anythingin the Elbaf arc, but at least, as a trio, Luffy, Zoro, and Nami don’t hold much substance as Nami isn’t a strong fighter like the other two.
Zoro and Luffy are now currently in the Underworld. Zoro, while down there, has freed Loki. Luffy and Zoro will definitely have an interesting interaction with Loki next chapter.
Nami’s Future Role In Elbaf
A Lot Is Still To Come
It’s unknown for now howNami will be involved in the events that will unfold in Elbaf. Sometimes, the Straw Hat Pirates get sidelined for other characters, but hopefully, Nami will get her time to shine.
As fans know, the Holy Knights are planning to kidnap children, and as seen back in Punk Hazard, Nami would go to any lengths to help children, so she might definitely have a major role to play, especially as she was the first Straw Hat fans saw on Elbaf back when the arc first started.
