WhileSolo LevelingSeason 2 Episode 7 was airing in Japan, theBS11 TV channel interrupted it to make an announcement: there is a new S-rank hunter in town. It is a mock-news ad for the series, featuring Riria (from the Nogizaka46 idol group) as the anchor announcing this breaking news. The video is available on Aniplex’s YouTube channel:

This commercial actually turns a scene from the webcomic adaptation into a live-action segment. There is alive-action adaptation in production right now, but it’s unrelated to this ad.

Solo Leveling Breaks Its Own Records on Crunchyroll

When Solo Leveling Season 2 premiered on Crunchyroll, it became the fastest episode to reach 100,000 likes on the service. But the series has recently broken its own record:Episode 6 made it even faster, in just 7 hours – and it even affected Crunchyroll and pirate websites' servers when it was released, such was the anticipation for this episode.

Unfortunately, not allSolo Levelingnews in the past few days has been good. Last week, Crunchyroll announced that the English-dubbed version of Season 2 Episode 5 will be delayed, andwill premiere on February 22– however, the schedule for Episode 6 hasn’t been affected, so both Episode 5 and 6 dubs will be released on the same day.

Solo Levelingis currently streaming on Crunchyroll, subbed and dubbed in many languages. It is also on Netflix in select Asian countries.
