TheSonic the Hedgehogseries has also generated plenty of merchandise, including a line of Squishmallows.Sonic and several of his friendshave been released in round, plush form since 2023, joining classicPokemoncharacters from across numerous generations. So far, theSonicline of Squishmallows includes Sonic himself, his best friends Tails and Knuckles, his love interest Amy Rose, and rivals like Dr. Eggman, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Metal Sonic. Even the fan-favorite Big the Cat has been immortalized as a Squishmallow along with a Dark Chao and a Santa-themed Sonic variant, and now fans have even more plushes to add to their collections.

Four new 14-inchSonic the HedgehogSquishmallowsare now available on Amazon for $24.99, all of which are variants of previously released characters. The first two areKnucklesandShadow, who are now holding the blue and green Chaos Emeralds and are sporting different facial expressions.Tailsnow holds one of Sonic’s life-granting Rings, whileAmyhas a yellow flower.

New Sonic The Hedgehog Squishmallows

All four of the characters featured in these new Squishmallows will be playable in the upcomingSonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which will host a network test starting on February 21. Atrailer forSonic Racing: CrossWorldswas shown during February 12’s PlayStation State of Play livestream, and a later leak hinted at the game’s roster and assortment of track environments.

This same leak suggested that more characters would be added toSonic Racing: Crossworlds’ launch lineup through DLC, including those from other hit Sega franchises. In the meantime, Squishmallow collectors have even moreSonic the Hedgehog-themed plushes to go along with theirEevee and Chansey Squishmallows, and there are still plenty of popular characters from the games and IDW comic series that haven’t been given the round, plush treatment yet.
