On Twitter, ConcernedApe shared a PSA apologizing for some issues that have arisen following themost recent SwitchStardew Valleypatch. The patch was released to fix numerous issues, including villagers loving every item handed to them as a gift. However, reports quickly arose of players having issues with things like opening Artifact Troves causing the game to crash. Now, ConcernedApe has informed fans that Artifact Troves and the back room of the Adventurer’s Guild should be avoided due to bugs in the new patch. In all, he says that some text may be garbled, and some issues may cause the game to crash entirely. He assures fans that the team is working on getting a fix out as quickly as possible for these new problems.

Stardew Valley Players Respond to New Issues

While no gamer wants to experience bugs in a game, fans of the indie farming sim seem to be largely sympathetic regarding the current situation. Most players who have responded have shared their thanks to ConcernedApe for his commitment to the game and its community over the years, and they seem to be willing to patiently await the next patch. While console and mobile players previously became frustrated at how long they had to wait for theadditional content added toStardew Valleyin the 1.6 updateto reach them, the community doesn’t seem too shaken up by this current situation.

With that said, it seems that some ofStardew Valley’s recent patcheshave come with a fair share of minor issues, like the aforementioned gift glitch. However, that bug was received pretty well too, considering that players could use it to quickly gain hearts with everyone in town. With any luck,Stardew Valley’s Switch version will receive a patch that quickly fixes these new issues without introducing any more.
