Ghost of Tsushima’s upcoming sequel,Ghost of Yōtei, will feature a new female protagonist namedAtsuwho now dons “The Ghost” persona. The developers have stated that the project explores themes of “underdog vengeance” while exploring the brand-new location of Hokkaido, Japan.
There’s no chance of Yōtei’s Atsu crossing paths with Tsushima’s Jin Sakai though, as the sequel is confirmed to beset 300 years after the first game. There are sure to still be narrative connections between the two though.
