How to Play Super Touchdown Event in Clash Royale
Super Touchdown is a unique game mode wheretheClash Royalearena is replaced with a football field. Both players start with a deck made up of eight cards, two of which can be Evo variants. To win the match, all you have to do is get at least one of your troops to the other end of the field before your opponent does the same.
You don’t have to choose any Tower Troops, since there are no towers in this game mode.
There’s no restriction on which card you can use in your deck, but the round only counts as won if a troop reaches the other end of the field. Placing down spell cards on the other side won’t count.
Win conditioncards such as Golemsor Giants walk in a straight line. Since there are no towers in the game, the only way for your opponent to stop building-targeting troops is to either kill them or distract them with their own defensive buildings.
The duration of a game is 3 minutes, which is standard for aClash Royalematch. However, the game starts in double-elixir and is played in multiple rounds, with true victory determined as a best of 5. The first player to win three rounds out of five will win the game.

Ram Rider
The first deck that we recommend for the event is all about offense. It’s got three high-speed units that can beeline straight for the finish line, which means you’ll be able to put extreme pressure on the opponent from minute one.
Hog Rider, Royal Hogs, and Ram Rider all go after the objective and ignore other troops. The slow effect from the Ram Rider’s attacks also comes in handy in slowing down enemy troops. you’re able to use it as a defensive card in a pinch.
While Tombstone isn’tthe best building troopin standardClash Royaledecks, for the event, it fits in perfectly. As for your spells, both Freeze and Rage can help push your main cards towards the finish line. Although this deck doesn’t take advantage of the duo evolution slots, it’s asolid low-cost deckthat’ll let you win consistently.
This deck has an average 3.1 elixir cost.
Deck #2
If you want to play a bit more defensively, where you counter your opponent’s push before going in for the attack, then this deck might be more up your alley. It features three separate buildings to distract your opponent’s win conditions, and the Fireball can also help knock back troops in a pinch.
In addition to the Hog Rider and Ram Rider, you’ll be using two of thebest evolution cards for this event—the Evo Wall Breakers and Evo Battle Ram. The Evo Battle Ram can push enemy defenses, and Evo Wall Breakers split into smaller Wall Breakers, making it difficult for the opponent to defend them without multiple defensive buildings.
When you’re playing this deck, you don’t want to make the first move. Use your defensive buildings to defend their first push and cycle your troops to get back to your evolution cards whileapplying pressure with the Hog Rider and the Ram Rider.
Prince
Of the three decks on this list, this one is the most difficult to pull off. It gives you a good balance of offense and defense, but you’ll also need to keep track of your opponent’s cycle and counter their cards efficiently. One misplay with this deck can easily cost you the game.
This deck uses the Evolution combo ofPekka Bridge Spam decks: the Evo Wizard and Evo Battle Ram. Other than the Battle Ram, you’ll also have the Hog Rider and Royal Hogs as your secondary win conditions. The Evo Wizard serves as the primary splash troop for defense along with the Arrows.
Skeletons and Prince are your primary DPS cards. Mother Witch acts as your anti-push because of her ability to transform enemy troops into Cursed Hogs. The trick to winning with this deck is to know your opponent’s cards and use proper counters. Always keep track of their cycle and go in with your own win conditions when you manage to place a lot of cards on the field.
This deck has an average 4.1 elixir cost.
Clash Royaleis one of the most dynamic strategy games out there. While the decks we mentioned above can serve as a baseline, it’s also important to try out your own combinations to find your perfect playstyle. So feel free to swap out the cards in these decks with your favorite ones to see what works best for you during this unique event.
