Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2is already a huge success, both financially and in terms of engagement from its ever-expanding playerbase. The medieval masterpiece built upon everything the first game did well andfully immerses playersin the medieval landscape of Bohemia in 1403.

It stands to reason then that a third installment in the series,Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3,could eventually be developed. Naturally, given the scope and attention to detail of these games, this would be many, many years down the line. Nevertheless, it is not unreasonable to get excited aboutpossible new features inKCD3or another medieval game crafted by Warhorse Studios.

Hunting in KCD2

6Falconry - Hunting With Birds

A Hunting Experience That No Other Game Provides

While hunting is fun and mostly realistic inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it would be great to see the addition of medieval falconry in a third installment. This popular sport for nobles, the clergy, and commoners alike saw smaller game and birds hunted with hawks, falcons, and even eagles.

While the mechanics of falconry could prove difficult to implement, an alternative addition could be a quest where the main character is part of a large hunting party, and the nobles have charge of the birds. Castles would often have mews where these trained birds of prey were kept, and as they wereterribly expensive, perhaps the main character could be tasked with stealing one from a rival lord.

5Jousting

Jousting With A Lance Is An Iconic Image Of The Middle Ages

While players can engage in theKuttenberg tournament inKCD2, one staple of the medieval tourney is still missing. Jousting inKCD3or another medieval title made by Warhorse Studios could elevate the gameplay to a whole other level.

Imagine charging down the lists in first person, aiming the lance, and then feeling the full force of the impact. With adherence to historical accuracy, it would also be a great opportunity to show off the full splendor of medieval tournaments with processions, costumes, special armor, and more.

4The Hussite Wars

A Key Part Of Czech History & A Natural Progression

While the first twoKingdom Come: Deliverancegames take place in 1403, they both feature buildup for the Hussite Wars, which feels like the natural next stop for the series. The Hussite Wars were fought between early church reformers and a coalition of Catholics led by King Sigismund. Throughout the first game, especially, Henry constantly hears about the teachings of Jan Hus, the theologian and reformer for whom the Hussites are named.

In the second game,Jan Zizka, a future leader of the Hussite armies, plays a prominent role, and some of his tactics of using wagons as mini forts can even be seen. These times of conflict would serve as the perfect backdrop forKCD3, and the time jump to around 1419 would enable players to see advancements in armor, cannons, and a host of new characters.

3An Autumn Or Winter Setting

The First Two Games Were Set In Spring & Summer, Respectively

While a possibleKCD3would likely still be set in medieval Bohemia, meaning vastly different terrain and weather wouldn’t be expected, it could be interesting to see different seasons. The first twoKCDgames took place in Spring and Summer, respectively, and as such, both games look fairly similar.

A switch to Autumn or Winter could, therefore, provide an entirely fresh atmosphere and color palette and possibly introduce new struggles, such as having to keep the main character warm. Imagine roaming the beautiful forests of Bohemia in Autumn or charging at enemies in the snow. However, seeing asKCDgames make use of a living day cycle with everyone going to bed when it gets dark, shorter hours of daylight could impede gameplay.

The city of Kuttenberg in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

2Prague

The Custom Engine Can Clearly Handle Big Cities

One of the most impressive things aboutKingdom Come: Deliverance 2is its optimization and performance. Incredibly, this extends tothe large city of Kuttenberg, which runs smoother than the relatively small town of Rattay in the first game. In five or six years, perhaps Warhorse Studios could go even bigger.

Thus, while Kuttenberg is big and a standout in its own right, it would be great to see the capital city of Bohemia, Prague, inKCD3. Throughout both games, many characters talk about Prague, and it would be home to numerous historical figures and important events.

All Tasks in Kingdom Ccome Deliverance 2

1More Character Faces & Voice Actors

This Would Help Make Every Character Feel More Unique

WhileKingdom Come: Deliverance 2is one of themost immersive open-world games ever made, it naturally has a few small problems, and in one case, this can be slightly immersion-breaking. This is in regard to multiple NPCs sharing the same faces and a limited number of voices across minor characters.

The character models and voice acting are both phenomenal and in terms of quality, players can only hope for more of the same in future Warhorse games. However, with the financial success of the second installment and more resources going forward, players would hopefully be able to see a greater variety of faces as they walk the streets and hear more distinct voices gossiping away.
