Gege is the mangaka ofJujutsu Kaisen, and he is quite a talented artist, having grown tremendously as he worked more on his manga over the years.
Recently, an old illustration of one of his main characters, Nobara, has resurfaced.
This illustration dates back to 2019. Back then,Jujutsu Kaisen’smanga was just about a year old. This illustration comes from a variant cover. Specifically, it was for applicants of Jump Giga 2019 Magazine’s 2nd Issue in 2019.
The art style of this illustration where Nobara is featured is quite distinct from Gege’s usual style in Jujutsu Kaisen, and has quite a lot of charm to it.

Nobara, despite being a main character in Jujutsu Kaisen, never really played a major role in the story after Shibuya. Her character was underused, and she was perhaps the most wasted character in the series. As fans know, both in the manga and the anime,Nobara fell in combat against Mahito.

Nobara definitely had potential, especially as she has an interesting cursed technique at her disposal. Although she did get her moments at first, the story eventually didn’t utilize her right until the very end, when she helped Yuji take down Sukuna by landing 1 blow.

Jujutsu Kaisenis currently one of the biggest shonen series out there. Even with the manga having ended, the story is still going strong. The manga itself can be found with all its chapters on Manga Plus.
Fans of the series can still look forward to a new anime season, JJK Season 3, whichwill start the Culling Game arcand will be quite exciting.
Besides that, the series is also getting a movie. This movie will feature an arc already featured in the anime, but with some new animation, it will be great nevertheless.
