And it doesn’t look like the studio is done just yet asWatch Dogshas become the latest title to receive the same treatment.

Ubisoft Adds Achievements to Watch Dogs on Steam

As spotted byReddit user Guineaa,Watch Dogshas become the latest Ubisoft title to receive achievements on Steam. According to the official Steam page forWatch Dogs, the title now has 49 achievements for players to collect. These achievements range from escaping a level 5 police scan to completing various story acts. The update marks the first entry in theWatch Dogsseries to receive Steam achievements, withWatch Dogs 2andWatch Dogs Legionstill yet to receive the same treatment. However, with other Ubisoft games, such as theFar CryandAssassin’s Creedfranchises,Steam achievements have been added to older titles gradually, which means there’s a strong chanceWatch Dogs 2andLegionwill receive the feature in the coming weeks.

The upcoming release ofAssassin’s Creed Shadowsappears to be a huge turning point for Ubisoft. Not only will it mark the studio’s return to Steam for day one releases,butShadowshas alsobeen delayed multiple timesnow as Ubisoft is seemingly attempting to perfect the title and avoid past mistakes.Assassin’s Creed Shadowswas originally due to launch in November 2024 before being delayed to February 2025. Just one month before the title was due to be released, Ubisoft hit fans with another delay, this time to June 09, 2025.

While older titles continue to be updated with Steam achievements, Ubisoft also recently revealed thatFar Cry New Dawnwould be getting a big update for current-gen consoles. The studio surprised fans at the end of January by releasing a new patch for the title on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S which added 60 FPS support for the 2019 title. With the studio rumored to be undergoing major financial struggles and layoffs occurring regularly, Ubisoft appears to be doing all it can to appease fans as they wait patiently for the studio’s next big title.
