Introduced withOnce Human’s Lunar Oracle event, the Lunar Whisper is a special event-specific resource that can be gathered in a variety of ways. This new material comes with someunique features that players might not know at the beginning, especially when they realize it has somehow disappeared from their inventory.
Lunar Whispers can be obtained quite easily, so that’s not what the community is confused about; the problem is that the game doesn’t clearly tell you the use case of the resource. For those unsure, here’s a rundown onwhat to do with Lunar Whispers inOnce Human.
What To Do With Lunar Whispers In Once Human
A Lunar Whisper is an optional resource thatcan be spent on Lunar Oracle Cratesbefore opening them toincrease the value and quantity of the rewards. Based on the grade of the crate, the required amount of Lunar Whispers will be different, and the players must always fill in the crate with the correct amount of whispers. Overspending is also not an option.
Players are strongly recommended to collect enough Lunar Whispers before opening crates, as the difference between rewards collected with and without Lunar Whispers is day and night.
Aside from weapon blueprints and armor, Lunar Oracle Crates also come with some event-specific items like Rubies, Lunar mods, animals, animal skins, and the Morphed Deviations, which are unique to the event. It’s also worth noting that there is a limit to the Gold items received from the crates, be it weapons or armor. Once the player gets a certain amount of Gold items within a day, the chests willno longer drop Gold weaponsor armor. The cooldown for the limit is unknown, but it should be activated after getting 20 or 25 Gold drops.
How To Get Lunar Whispers In Once Human
First things first, make sure the server you are playing on features the Visional Environment. This is the term used for the Lunar Oracle event in the server description section. Now, you have to wait until Lunacy begins. It is more like a weather condition that starts at9 PM in-game time and wraps up at 3 AM. So, that’s your golden timeframe to farm as many Lunar Whispers as possible.
This resource can almost be earned from any form of interaction with the environment. Gathering resources like chopping down trees, collecting herbs, and mining ores have a chance of dropping Lunar Whispers. A better and richer source, however, is tokill the deviations during Lunacy. As you may know, deviations become stronger at Lunacy hours, which makes them hard to kill but also increases the loot they drop. Higher-tier enemies drop more Lunar Whispers.
One important thing to note about Lunar Whispers is the fact thatthey expire over time. Every Lunar Whisper collected will only beusable for 12 real-life hours. After that period, the Lunar Whisper will be removed from the player’s inventory due to expiration. So, it’s important to farm them a little bit before opening the Lunar Oracle Crates, as they cannot be saved for a long time.
