Dalthydon Wool is one of several crafting materials that players can’t get by ordinary means inMonster Hunter Wilds. It’s a practical resource used for making wearable items, but unlike other monster parts, players can’t just get this from hunting.

There are quite a fewarmor sets inMH Wildsthat players won’t immediately be made aware of, and if you’re looking to unlock all of these so-called secret sets, you’ll need at least one piece of Dalthydon Wool in your inventory.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Dalthydon Wool Location

Dalthydon Wool is a special material thatcan only be obtained via trading. To get it, you’ll need to visit eitherGawdygog in the Wudwud HideoutorKilama in Kunafa. Once you’ve spoken with each of them at least once, you can access their inventories by speaking with Nata in front of your base camp tent after beatingChapter 3 of the main story.

All traders offer items that are drawn randomly from a pool specific to each NPC. For example, both Kilama and Gawdygog occasionally offer Sinister Cloth inMH Wilds, and they are the only two traders who do so.
