East of your starting point (Seaside Resort) inHello Kitty Island Adventurelies Spooky Swamp. This creepy area is home to new critters and exclusive materials such as pumpkins and apples. It’s also where you can findSpinip, a vegetable that you can use in various crafting recipes/plans. Spinip can be obtained as soon as you unlock the Spooky Swamp, but if you want to get more, you’ll need to unlock two ofIsland Adventure’s tools.

How to Get Spinip
Spinips grow on the riverbanks in theSpooky Swamparea. However, you can find x3 Spinip bydiving into the lakeby Kuromi’s Potion Hut. In order to unlock the ability to dive, you need to craft the Snorkel. These crafting plans can be obtained from Kuromi (level 6) through the “Deep Diving” quest. Swim to the bottom of the lakenext to Kuromi’s iconin theabove imagefor Spinip.
Alternatively,ask the Nul outside My Melody’s storeto retrieve Spinip for you. Doing so will ensure you get all the Spinip in Spooky Swamp, but you won’t be able to collect them from the Nul until the following day.
Where to Use Spinip
Every Crafting Recipe with Spinip
Spinip can be given as a 1-heart Gift toPochacco. If you don’t have the crafting recipes for his 2-heart or 3-heart gift, then Spinip may be the best gift to give him until he’s gained a level or two. Like any other resource item inIsland Adventure, you’ll get better gifts if you use the Spinip in a recipe. For example,Pochacco Energy Popis Pochacco’s 3-heart gift, and one of its ingredients is x1 Spinip.
Spinip is also used in three furniture recipes with the Yummy tag. You’ll need to craft all pieces in the Yummy Furniture collectionfor Azuki’s visitor cabin.
