As you level up your friendship level with theHello Kitty Island Adventurecast, you’ll unlock more quests and, in some cases, a new character. Unlike visitors, these characters can be given gifts and will give you crafting plans as you level them up. Unlocking characters is important as doing so will unlock more resources that you won’t be able to get anywhere else inIsland Adventure. One such example isWool, which is a necessity when crafting cottage-themed furniture.
How to Unlock My Sweet Piano
A Friend Indeed Unlock Requirements
To get wool, you’ll need to complete the quest “A Friend Indeed.” This unlocks when you’relevel 15 with My Melody. Once this requirement is met, you can speak to My Melody to start thefirst partof “A Friend Indeed.” Unfortunately, it will take youthree days in real timeto complete “A Friend Indeed,” but it’s worth the wait.
My Melody wants to throw a surprise for My Sweet Piano. Over the course of two days, you’ll be gathering and crafting various items. On the third day, My Sweet Piano will officially join Friendship Island.
How to Get Wool
Best Gifts for My Sweet Piano
My Sweet Piano will be in the new room atSmall Gift Big Smile(My Melody’s store). Speak with her and give her a gift to unlock her first friendship level. As thanks, My Sweet Piano will give youWool. Unfortunately,My Sweet Piano’s higher-heart giftscan only be unlocked throughleveling up My Sweet Piano’s friendship level.
You should also get the Basic Plush crafting plans from the treasure chest in My Sweet Piano’s room. The Basic Plush is needed to craft theLamb Plush, a 2-heart gift for My Sweet Piano. You’ll also need a Lamb Plush to make her 3-heart gift, theColorful Lamb Plush.

Crafting plans for basic candles (ex: Red Candle) can be found intreasure chests in Merry Meadow.
Loot the chest in My Sweet Piano’s Room at Small Gift Big Smile.
2-heart
Reach level 6 friendship with My Sweet Piano to get the Lamb Plush crafting plans.
3-heart
Reach level 10 friendship with My Sweet Piano to get the Colorful Lamb Plush crafting plans.
- My Sweet Piano likes all the Lamb Plush items. If you choose to craft another type of Lamb Plush such as the Aquatic Lamb Plush,you’ll needMaterialinstead of a Stickto make it. The type of Material (ex: Tropical Material) is determined by the type of Lamb Plush.
Leveling up My Sweet Piano unlocks crafting plans for the cottage-tag furniture. You’re going to need to place three pieces of cottage furniture in a visitor’s cabin for My Melody’s Grandma and My Melody’s Mama. You’ll also unlock the ability tocustomize furniturewhen My Sweet Piano reacheslevel
Where to Use Wool
Best Crafting Plans with Wool
As mentioned earlier, Wool is a material that is used in all the cottage-themed furniture (excluding Cottage Dresser, Cottage Side Table, and Cottage Fireplace). You also need Wool to make Lamb Plush gifts for My Sweet Piano and for the “Plush Presents” quest.The amount of Woolused for cottage furnituredepends on the type of furniture.
If you’re only making cottage furniture for My Melody’s Mama and My Melody’s Grandma, you may want to craft theCottage Dining Chair (x5 Wool, x2 Woodblock)since it’s unlocked in the earlier friendship levels for My Sweet Piano (Level 4).
