Early inAvowed, you’ll see several references to theParty Campmechanic, but there isn’t much information about how exactly to access this important location. Throughout your playthrough, you’ll need to visit the Party Camp for nearly every importantupgrade, including both weapons and armor, as well asweapon enchantment.In this guide, we’ll show youhow and where to use the Party Camp inAvowed.
How to Set Up Party Camps in Avowed
Locating Party Camps:
InAvowed, Party Camps are not placed anywhere the player would like. Instead, each region has a set number of camps, placed in specific locations. Players willfind each Party Campas they explore the various regions of the Living Lands. The game’s first region,Dawnshore, hasfour Party Camp locationsfor players to find.
Each Party Camp is marked by alarge block ofAdra, similar to the blocks you’ll see at many important locations throughout the game. These can be seen from far off, as they give off a glowing purple aura.
you’re able to tell how many Party Camp locations each region has by visiting the map and pressing X (or PC equivalent). This will bring up a menu on the right side of the map that shows a complete rundown of locations in your present region, including how many you’ve discovered, and how many are left to discover.
Establishing Party Camps:
To set up a Party Camp inAvowed, you’ll need tointeract with the Adrathat marks a camp location. Doing so will establish the camp for as long as you’re there. You’ll need to do this every time you visit on foot, but there is no cost to the player.
One of the major benefits of establishing a Party Camp inAvowedis that it becomes a new fast-travel point. Fast-Traveling to a Party Camp will automatically set up all camp stations, which makes the entire process incredibly simple.
Dawnshore Party Camp Locations:
Here you can see an example of how the Party Camp system works. In Dawnshore, there are four different camp locations, meaning you’re never far from a camp when you need it. Once you’ve unlocked fast-travel, this is less important, but it really helps when you are exploring each region for the first time.
How to Use Party Camps in Avowed
Party Camps will be your main hub for several key mechanics inAvowed.At the camp, you’ll be able to perform the following tasks:
How to Upgrade Weapons and Armor in Avowed:
To upgrade weapons and armor inAvowed,you’ll need to visit the upgrade station under the small tent to the right of the Party Stash. Here, you’ll be able to upgrade your main chest armor pieces – foot and arm armor cannot be upgraded – and your weapons.
There are several tiers of upgrades you can take your items through. Each tier has three quality levels, which require a variety of basic crafting materials to perform. Then, to upgrade to the next rarity tier, you’ll need to use Adra and its variants.
You can alsocraft upgrade materialsat the upgrade station. Press RT to switch between the upgrade and crafting menus.
How to Enchant Unique Weapons in Avowed:
InAvowed,every unique weapon comes with a basic enchantment. You can alter or upgrade an enchantment only once for each weapon. To do this, you must visit the Enchantment station. For each unique weapon, you’ll have the option to either upgrade the weapon’s base enchantment, or replace it with a different enchantment. Currently, it appears that the game offers you only one alternate enchantment choice.
To perform enchantments, you’ll need to collect a wide variety of materials, most of which are looted from dead enemies and various chests you’ll find around each map.
Unique Companion Interactions:
Whenever you see a small companion symbol with an exclamation markon the lower eft side of your HUD, this means one of your companions wishes to speak with you at camp. The next time you visit the Party Camp, check in with that companion for a unique interaction that usually pertains to choices you’ve recently made.
