In a Reddit post, user tadamig revealed handmade mini replicas of thePlaces of Power shown inThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The pictures depicted three holed pillars with vibrant glowing signs, similar to the in-game objects. Evidently, the Igni, Axii, and Aard versions of the Places of Power were recreated by the talentedWitcherfan. Whether it be the cracked, moss-covered look or the carved symbols on the rocky surface, the hand-painted models replicated the Places of Power just as depicted in the game. They revealed that the largest one from the lot, the Igni Place of Power replica, weighed in at 1.5 kgs and measured up to 37 cm tall. Moreover, they expressed an interest in creating a 1:1, life-size version of the in-game pillar in the future.

Witcher Fan Shares How They Built the Place of Power Replicas

Tadamig shared that they created these models, based on thelatestWitchergame, with the help of clay, cardboard, some 3D-printed parts, paint, hot glue, and an LED strip. Precisely, they first built the barebones structure, followed by fitting the LED light in place, after which they put clay all over and molded the Place of Power replica. Finally, they finished off the process by hand-painting the entire figure. In the comments, several Reddit users showered praise on the efforts of the passionateWitcherfan, with one saying, “Amazing work, talented human!”
