The Trading Post is a feature inWorld of Warcraftwhere players can shop from a stock of cosmetics that rotates every month. These items are bought with Trader’s Tender – a currency mostly obtained by completing in-game tasks on the Traveler’s Log, but can sometimes bepurchased via selectWorld of Warcraftcash shop bundles.
Now,World of Warcrafthas revealed the highlights from the Trading Post catalog coming in March. Most of these items, including the Ruby Butterfly, Wings of the Blood Monarch, and Blood Monarch’s Sword, all match a butterfly aesthetic. Even the Ornaments of the Pearlescent Monarch, an ensemble containing a head, shoulder, and waist transmogs obtained by completing the Traveler’s Log in March, perfectly fits this theme – the only revealed item that doesn’t is the Vigilante’s Deep Mask, a lavender Zoro-like headscarf.
World of Warcraft Trading Post Highlights (March 2025)
These are only a few of the many items coming to the Trading Post in March. Though Blizzard had historically revealed entire catalogs in these blogs, theDecember 2024 Trading Post inWorld of Warcraftset a new tradition of only showing off select highlights, rather than the full collection. This means fans will have to wait until the inventory rotates on March 1 to see what else they can spend their Trader’s Tender on.
This also means theWorld of WarcraftTrading Post catalog from Februarywill be leaving soon – along with the bonuses for the feature’s second anniversary. The extra vendors who offer discounts on returning items and the extra 500 Trader’s Tender available from the Traveler’s Log will disappear in March, so players will want to verify to collect all of their rewards before it is too late to do so.
Were this not exciting enough,World of Warcraftjust released Patch 11.1, Undermine(d). The Undermine zone is full of new activities, many of which will likely award progress on the Traveler’s Log. WithThe War WithinSeason 2 starting on March 4, fans should have no trouble earning their Trader’s Tender stipend, and the Ornaments of the Pearlescent Monarch, through various activities in Undermine.
