Reliableleaker WuWa Land has sharedan image of Zani’s model for Version 2.2. The leak reveals that Zani would have a second form different from the one players have encountered in Version 2.0. Per the leak, Zani’s alternate outfit consists of a sleeveless shirt, a new red glove, and new belt accessories. The model also shows her with longer hair and wounds on her arms. According to WuWa Land, Zani’s second form would be story-related, but there is a chance it could also link to her playable kit. On the other hand,Wuthering Wavesconfirmed Cantarella’s debutfor Version 2.2, and it seems she will be the only new unit in the next patch.

WhenWuthering Wavesshared the first images of Rinascita characters ahead of the nation’s launch, Zani quickly became popular among fans because of her unique design. Zani was later revealed to be affiliated with the Montelli family and briefly became Rover’s bodyguard while exploring Ragunna. Zani is among themost-anticipated upcoming characters inWuthering Waves, and she played an important role in the Rinascita main quest. The game’s latest story trailer also teased more cutscenes of Zani for future patches, so players will likely learn more about her background soon.
Wuthering WavesVersion 2.2 is expected to launch in late March. Earlier leaks suggested thatWuthering Waveswould release Rover’s third elementin the 2.2 update as well, which is rumored to be Aero.
