Unfortunately for WWE fans, the upcomingWWE 2K25will not feature new star Penta on its roster of playable wrestlers.WWE 2K25is set to feature a massive roster of wrestlers, with stars from the past and present readily available to choose from once the game launches on March 14.
TheWWE 2K25roster reveal informed that the upcoming game will have most of the biggest stars from modern-day WWE along with legends from the past and even some stars that are no longer with the company. Indeed,WWE 2K25features multiple cut wrestlersin what may be their last WWE video game appearance. This is because theWWE 2K25roster was finalized before these stars were let go from the company. Likewise, the date when the roster was finalized is also likely why Penta is not featured in the game.
TheWWE 2K25rosterwill not feature Penta, who made his WWE debut this past January. Penta has made a big splash in WWE since winning his first match on Raw against Chad Gable. He lasted a long time in this year’s Royal Rumble match and has continued to pick up victories on WWE Raw and the company’s other programming. Penta has enjoyed loud reactions from crowds, and it’s clear that he has a very bright future in the WWE. But since hejustmade his WWE debut in January, he won’t be featured inWWE 2K25- not at launch, at least.
As some may recall, CM Punk made his WWE return in November 2023, which was still too late for him to be a part of theWWE 2K24roster when that game launched four months later. However, Punk wasadded to theWWE 2K24roster through DLC. It’s entirely possible that the same will happen with Penta, though that remains to be seen. While Penta has been incredibly popular since making his WWE debut, he doesn’t have the same level of starpower as CM Punk, and so there may not be quite as much of a rush to get him playable in the video games.

Assuming Penta is still with WWE by the timeWWE 2K26comes out next year, he is almost guaranteed to be a part of that game’s base roster. There’s still some hope thatWWE 2K25DLC plansinclude Pneta, but nothing to that effect has been announced and fans should keep their expectations in check.
