Amazing Seasun Games confirmedthe release window forMecha BREAKis now set for spring 2025, and the game will be a console launch exclusive on Xbox Series X|S. The PC versions will also be available day-and-date for Steam and Windows via the Xbox app, according to the game’s official Facebook account. The game is planned for release on “more platforms” later in the year, with a subsequent comment by the Facebook account confirming thatMecha BREAKwill come to PlayStation 5. In addition, Amazing Seasun Games revealed that developers from Xbox are providing support forMecha BREAK’sdevelopment to ensure features like cross-play and cross-save functionality are available on day one. It’s unclear whether the cross-play and cross-save support will be available with the PlayStation 5 version later this year, however.
Mecha BREAK Will Launch in Spring 2025 as an Xbox Series X|S Console Exclusive
Some fans who previously playedtheMecha BREAKopen betawere happy about the update, while others shared feedback on potential improvements before the game’s launch. One of the fan requests involves the removal of bots to ensure a true PvP experience. In the beta, bots were used to fill up empty slots in teams before a match begins.
As shown inone ofMecha BREAK’sprevious gameplay trailers, the game will feature three modes with ground and aerial combat, including “3v3 Deathmatch,” “6v6 Hero Shooter,” and “PvPvE Extraction Shooter” modes. In the extraction mode, players can team up and form three-man squads to survive mech battles in a vast 200-square-kilometer combat area. Players on Xbox Series X|S and PC will be able to earn loot and special materials for their mechs, which are fully customizable with a selection of weapons, parts, paint jobs, and much more. Leading up to the PlayStation 5 version’s release,Mecha BREAKis expected to receive multiple post-launch updates.
