Summary

Ubisoft’sWatch Dogs: Legionhas joined the ever-changing catalog of titles being offered onXbox Game Pass. The third in a series that first launched in 2014,Watch Dogs: Legiontakes players to a dystopian London of the future, where the hacking group DedSec has been framed for terrorism.

Along with its multiplayer component that allows up to four people to play cooperatively,Watch Dogs: Legionintroduced a new playable character system. It lets players recruit any NPC in the game world and build a unique team with diverse backgrounds and abilities. The mechanic came with the option of permadeath, meaning any recruit who dies during a playthrough is gone for good. Given that these characters are chosen specifically by the player, who is more likely to become attached as a result, this upped the stakes and excitement for those who wanted it.
