With an OpenCritic average score of 83,Bloodstained: Ritual of the Nightis one of the most critically acclaimed titles from this upcoming wave of departures. The popular metroidvania has beenavailable to Xbox Game Pass members since February 2024, so its ongoing run on the service will last a full year. Ditto forA Little to the Left,Indivisible, andTales of Arise. Xbox Game Pass users have already been able to playBloodstained: Ritual of the Nightbetween September 2019 and March 2021, raising the possibility of the game once again returning to the service sometime in the future.
Out of these seven soon-to-be-departing titles,Return to Graceis the easiest to complete from start to finish in one day. According to How Long To Beat’s crowdsourced data, a typical playthrough of the sci-fi walking sim takes between two and five hours, which potentially makes it beatable in a single sitting. Cozy puzzlerA Little to the Leftis also a fairly short and sweet game, though obtaining all of its trophies in a single day is a much bigger challenge.
Xbox Game Pass February 2025 Removals Are Currently Outpacing New Releases
Xbox Game Pass has added three new titlessince the start of February 2025 and currently has just one more confirmed game for this month—Obsidian’sAvowed, which is scheduled to arrive on the 18th. Between that and these seven upcoming departures, Microsoft’s subscription service will likely lose more games than it adds this month. That wasn’t the case in January, but it has become a trend lately, as Xbox Game Pass monthly removals have consistently outpaced new releases from August to December 2024.
